Little Kakkonen's Anniversary Exhibition in Helsinki

Little Kakkonen is turning forty this year and invites all its friends to celebrate this milestone at its own anniversary exhibition. The exhibition features nostalgic photographs from five decades of Little Kakkonen's history up to the present day, and you can explore it through several different games or simply enjoy it by viewing the whole collection.

The immersive photograph exhibition has already toured many locations around Finland and arrives on the first day of August for a month in Helsinki at Annantalo right in the heart of Helsinki. Little Kakkonen’s anniversary exhibition is on display throughout August in Annantalo’s indoor spaces during the building’s opening hours. In connection with the exhibition, you also have the opportunity to create a congratulations card for Little Kakkonen.

The wonderful exhibition opens on Tuesday, August 1st, 2017, from 1-3 PM at the A.stage in Annantalo’s back courtyard. At the opening, Nalle, Siina, and Susanna, who are familiar from Little Kakkonen, will be singing and playing games. Performances on the A.stage begin at 1 PM and 2 PM.

The anniversary exhibition continues throughout August in Annantalo’s indoor spaces. After Helsinki, it continues its journey towards Turku.

Little Kakkonen’s anniversary exhibition is part of the Finland 100 celebration year and the Great Reading Adventure project, which is coordinated by the Children’s Literature Institute and the Reading Center.

Admission to the exhibition and opening is free.
