Easter Island at Korkeasaari 14.-17.4.2017

Mustikkamaanpolku 12 Location on map Korkeasaari's Easter Island is a family event where you can watch the animals as well as the spring awakening of nature. At Bear Island, you can dip your fingers and seeds into the soil, craft chicks and bunnies, and spin a wheel of fortune for wildlife. In the Amazon, animal face paintings are applied, and in the Boreal region, signs of spring are admired. During animal feeding times, information is provided about species and the happenings of Korkeasaari's animals. Korkeasaari is open during Easter every day from 10-18 (admission until 17). Korkeasaari has good spots for eating your own packed lunches, a grill area, playgrounds, and accessible baby care facilities. More information about the event

(and Kalasatama's new playground) Kattilahalli, Sörnäisten rantatie 22 Location on map Kattilahalli's flea market makes it to Little Helsinki's event listings because one of Helsinki's new playgrounds is located near Kattilahalli (see location on map). Laamannintie 17 Location on map Haltiala farm's animals are mostly in outdoor spaces, and you can see sheep and spring-born lambs in indoor areas (strollers must be left outside). The farm has an excellent playground, grill area, and café-restaurant that also serves lunch. Paid pony riding available. Seurasaari Easter bonfires Saturday 15.4.2017 at 18.30

Seurasaari Location on map Seurasaari's Easter brings together on Wire Saturday small children dressed as witches and sorceresses. Two bonfires. The Celebration Field kiosk serves during the event and you can also grill your own packed lunches. It's easy to move around the area with strollers. The dream was about to come true, because Rabbit became a witch's apprentice. The witch had promised that if the rabbit managed to conjure spring, she would finally become a real witch. Now Rabbit would need help. If she doesn't get spring conjured during Easter, she will never become a witch. The help of children and adults is needed!
