Pienten Helsinki's weekly "Where to go this week" series searches for activity tips and suggests child-friendly events and activities in Helsinki and the surrounding area. The website targets families with children under ten years old.

Open early childhood activities (=playgrounds and family centers) are open and the parks' indoor spaces, playground areas, fixed play equipment and outdoor toys are available for children and families to use. More information on the city website.

MLL Myllypuro and Metropolia UAS HyMy-kylä family café in Myllypuro at Metropolia premises (next to the metro station) on Tuesdays 9-11 am. Each session also includes a program organized by Metropolia social and health students for families. Free admission.

Family ball sports at Pallomylly's indoor hall in Myllypuro sports park. In family ball sports, all children under 9 move with their own adult on soft artificial turf. Free play, gymnastics, running or even practicing walking. Family ball sports on Tuesdays 9.30-11.30 am and 4-6 pm. Morning ball sports are free for everyone, evening ball sports cost adults Pallomylly's admission fee.

Christmas mail for the elderly campaign until 7.12.2021. Cards can be delivered to, for example, most libraries.

Espoo: Aurora's Christmas Village 7.-16.12.2021. Some of the program requires advance registration or is paid.
