The target audience of the website is pre-school children and families with children.

A.lava summer music season begins Tuesday at 10:30 am. Admission to music class is free. A.lava is located behind Annantalo and musical songs are sung outdoors under a shelter, so dress according to the weather. More information on Annantalo's website.

Firefighter parade in central Helsinki Thursday 11:30 am-1 pm. Tip to Espoo: Fairy School is a whole family active nature walk where you travel at the children's pace. The walk also works with strollers. Bring small snacks and dress according to the weather. Flea market! Aleksis Kivi Street Sunday flea market starting at 11 am!
Children's island adventure on Haraka island off Kaivopuisto Sunday 12-2 pm. The island adventure is aimed at 4-10-year-olds. A connecting ferry goes to Haraka from the Ullanlinnan pier at Kaivopuisto (Ehrenströmintie 3) and a round-trip ticket costs 5 € for adults, 2 € for children and seniors (card payment only). A community garden is being established in Annantalo courtyard in 2019 - Helsinki's funniest community garden. Courtyard activities begin Wednesday, May 8, 2019. Gardening work parties continue every Wednesday throughout the summer and early fall until September 20, 2019. The community garden is truly Helsinki's own garden, and anyone can enjoy caring for it and its harvest. Annantalo courtyard and the A•lava stage located there host primarily activities for children, young people, and families from May through mid-September.
Olympic Stadium and Kumpula outdoor pool have opened their 2019 summer season.
Linnanmäki has once again opened its gates for the 2019 season. The amusement park area is free to enter and there are free amusement rides for the little daredevils.
In Espoo: Toy Museum Horseshoe features a new Game Play Board Games special exhibition. Museum admission fee applies.

Little Helsinki as an app on your phone!
Little Helsinki now also works as a PWA app. You can install Little Helsinki on your Android or iPhone by simply opening the page in Chrome or Safari browser and selecting the share icon to Add to home screen. A PWA app differs from a traditional app in that it doesn't need to be separately installed from the App Store or similar. Practically, the content is exactly the same as in the browser, but the page loads faster.
Little Helsinki doesn't require registration to work now, or ever.
