Week's highlights for children's activities

What suitable activities for children can you find in Helsinki? Where to go with small children on weekends? What to do on a rainy day? Pienet Helsinki's weekly series looks for activity tips and recommends child-friendly places in Helsinki and the surrounding area. The website targets pre-school age children and families with children.

Where to go this week -article continues with a slightly modified concept. The article lists the week's event highlights and the most interesting activity tips of the week. It also includes highlights from Pienet Helsinki's news and new articles. The future of the site is still open, but we'll continue with this concept for the spring.

Pienet Helsinki's New Year Children at the Restaurant Challenge has been published!
Pienet Helsinki challenges all families looking for a lunch spot with children or hunting for a good child-friendly restaurant to share their best tips with others facing the same challenges. The goal is to create a comprehensive list of cafes and restaurants that have proven to be truly good or at least functional with children, accessible through one link, and making life easier for many other families.

Upcoming events in spring 2019 -list has had its first events published.

Pienet Helsinki as an app on your phone!

Pienet Helsinki now also works as a PWA app. You can install Pienten Helsinki on your Android or iPhone phone simply by opening the site in Chrome or Safari browser and selecting "Add to home screen" from the share menu. A PWA app differs from a traditional app in that it doesn't need to be downloaded separately from the App Store or similar. Practically, the content is exactly the same as in the browser, but theoretically loads faster.
Pienet Helsinki does not require registration to function now, nor will it ever.
