Small Helsinki will publish a new type of city tourism concept in the coming months, as hospitality management student Heidi Säynätkari creates city routes for families in several Helsinki neighborhoods as her thesis work. The publication of family city routes was delayed due to server problems and the routes will be published as soon as possible!

Art clinic for 3-6 year olds at Annantalo on Monday at 10 and 12:30. This week at the art clinic there are mosaic games. Mushroom exhibition at the Kaisaniemi botanical garden on September 15-16, 2019 from 11-17. The event organized by Luomus and the Finnish Mycological Society is free and during the event there is free entrance to the greenhouses. Read more on the botanical garden's website.

For babies: Baby Monday at the Art Hall from 1-3 p.m. The event introduces the Ugo Rondinone exhibition under the guidance of art educators Liini Laeks and Iisa Juva as well as the Art Hall's own guide. Family ball games at the Pallomill indoor hall at Myllypuro sports park. In family ball games, all children under 9 move on a soft artificial turf with their own adult. Free play, acrobatics, running or even learning to walk. Family ball games on Tuesdays from 9:30-11:30 and 4-6 p.m. Morning ball games are free for everyone, evening ball games cost adults a Pallomill single ticket (€3.50). Small Helsinki is now also available as a PWA app. You can install Small Helsinki on your Android or iPhone by simply opening the site in Chrome or Safari and selecting the share icon to Add to home screen. A PWA app differs from a traditional app in that it doesn't need to be separately installed from the App Store or similar. In practice, the content is exactly the same as in the browser, but the page loads faster.
Small Helsinki does not require registration to work now, nor ever will.
