  • Aalto University Junior Robotics Workshop at Central Library Oodi on Monday at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and 12 p.m. The robotics workshop is recommended for approximately 7-13-year-olds; children under 7 can participate with an adult. One workshop lasts approximately 45 minutes. Pre-registration is not required. However, please note that each workshop has limited capacity, so you may need to wait for your turn. Free admission.
  • Espoo: Free Hoppari sports activities at Esport Arena in Tapiola Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free admission. Bring indoor shoes, a water bottle, and snacks or money if desired.
  • Winter break children's sports event at Töölö Sports Hall Monday to Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets €2.10 (children) and €3.60 (adults).
  • Note that many museums are closed on Mondays
    Museums in Helsinki and the metropolitan area open on Mondays include Museum Merkki, Helsinki City Museum and Children's City, Tram Museum, TAHTO, and Amos Rex (closed Tuesdays!). During winter break week, the Technology Museum in Helsinki, Luontokeskus Haltia, Museum Leikki in Espoo, and Aviation Museum in Vantaa are also open on Mondays.
