  • All of Helsinki's municipal playgrounds are open again (except those under renovation!)!
    Playground indoor facilities are freely available in the mornings from 9am-12pm, in the afternoons they are reserved for schoolchildren. Playground Loru does not have school children's afternoon activities.
  • In the program of Playground Loru located in Oodi Central Library on Monday:
    - 10:30–11:15 Loru's games, the joy of play for over 1-year-olds
    - 15–15:30 Loru's fun games for over 2-year-olds
  • Helmet library events for children can be found on Helmet's event page.
  • Albertin lounge is open on Mondays from 9:30am–2pm (International Monday).
  • Kapsäkki visits – Soivat tarinaturinat concert at Kalasatama school and kindergarten yard on Monday at 4pm. Free admission.
  • MUSEUMS in Helsinki open on Mondays include the Stamp and Pippi Longstocking exhibition, Helsinki City Museum and Children's City, Tram Museum, Amos Rex and seasonally also the Natural History Museum and Seurasaari open-air museum. The Kaisaniemi Botanical Garden's outdoor garden now has beautiful flowers in bloom (free admission to outdoor garden!).     - 1–1:30pm Loru's warmth - baby session
    - 3–3:30pm I Ramsans värme, musik, rim och ramsor för bebisar
  • Helmet library events for children can be found on Helmet's event page.
  • Metropolia's HyMy village Family group Metku continues at Myllypuro Metropolia UAS premises (next to the metro station) on Tuesday from 9am-11am. Each session also has varying programs for families led by early childhood education, social, health and culture students. 
  • Albertin lounge's Health Clinic at Kamppi Family Center on Tuesdays from 9:30am-12pm.
  • Summer music lessons at Annantalo's back yard A stage on Tuesday at 10am. Free admission.
  • Pesis Tuesday at Johanneksen field in Ullanlinna and Akseli Toivonen field in Käpylä on Tuesday from 4–7:30pm. Free admission.
    Both children and adults can play as follows:
    - 4:00–5:00pm: children under 10 years
    - 5:00–6:00pm: children 10–15 years
    - 6:00–7:30pm: over 15 years and adults

  • Espoo: Baltic Sea Day: Soap bubble painting at Children's Culture Center Aurora on Thursday from 9am-12pm. Free admission.
  • Albertin lounge is open on Thursday from 9:30am–3pm.
  • Baltic Sea Fest – Baltic Sea Day celebrations at Citizens' Square, Finlandia Hall, Oodi and Music Center on Thursday from 12–7pm. Free admission.
  • Baltic Sea Day program at Pakkahuonenlaituri near Market Square in South Harbor – program and opportunity to visit research vessel Aranda and rescue cruiser Jenny Wihuri on Thursday from 12–7pm. Free admission.
  • Baltic Sea Day: Ylästö school's MCMUSARIT released a song and music video for the Baltic Sea and will perform it on Espa stage on Thursday at 2pm. Performance duration approximately 10 minutes in total, so please arrive in time! 
  • Finland's biggest splash celebrates Baltic Sea Day at Hietaniemi beach on Thursday from 5–6:30pm. Free admission.
  • Baltic Sea evening trail games in the Lapinlahti spring area on Thursday from 5:30–7:30pm. Free admission.
