Unfortunately, Pienten Helsingin weekly "Where this week" articles are on hiatus due to website funding challenges, but out of love for the subject and great longing, I've compiled tips for a festive weekend for those adventuring with children. I'm also very sorry about the situation to Pienten Helsingin followers, so let this be an apology for the missing tips from recent weeks. I miss you and children's events!

So where to go this weekend with children? There are plenty of festive (children's) events and so much to experience!

The article's cover image is from the Cathedral steps, where when there's fresh snow you can experience Helsinki's (and Finland's?) most thrilling sledding slope!

Ps. If you venture out to weekend events and share photos on social media, Pienten Helsinki would really love to be tagged. I'm working elsewhere this weekend myself, so I'd be happy to see the atmosphere from Christmas trails and other events.
