Myllynsiipi Playground
Myllynsiipi Playground in Myllypuro is a versatile play park with an outdoor area divided into zones for different age groups. The area designed for younger children is surrounded by rock, while on the other side the yard is bordered by a walking path and a fenced artificial turf field as well as a rope course, which are suitable for older children's play.Myllynsiipi is built in the middle of nature and rock, and the yard features large pine trees and planted shrubs. You’ll find shaded areas as well as plenty of benches and tables. It’s about half a kilometre to Myllypuro metro station on foot. Forest trails for adventure can be found near the park. The play equipment is in excellent condition and the overall appearance of the park is neat. On hot summer days, the yard water sprinklers are in use.
Higher up on the rocks, outside the main play park area, there is a suspension bridge on a rocky slope.
The play park’s indoor facilities are comfortable and there is plenty of play space. In addition, there’s a good kitchen and dining area for eating packed lunches.
