Ida Aalbergin tie 8, North Haaga, Helsinki

Ida Playground in North Haaga underwent a complete renovation, and during the renovation the playground's outdoor area was reduced when the new Aada daycare was added next to it. During this time, the playground's indoor facilities also moved to the ground floor of the daycare. Ida's own outdoor area is now smaller, but you can find something here that is rare in Helsinki playgrounds: a large climbing carousel! In addition to the carousel, the playground offers quite traditional features: seesaws, swings, a climbing frame and a sandbox. The old paddling pools have been given a new purpose, the yard is cheerfully colorful with asphalt paintings, and the row of swings has something for everyone. Plus points for the fenced playground area and the daycare yard's play opportunities in the evenings and weekends, as the daycare yard is especially suitable for younger children.
