Little Helsinki is full of children's events and tips for doing things with kids. Behind it, however, is also an idea and a goal of a more child-friendly Helsinki and a world where children are an important part of this city and its everyday life and celebrations. What is your child-friendly Helsinki, which operators deserve praise for being child-friendly and where is there room for improvement? Now we're looking for child-friendly actions and operators who have earned their thanks!

There have been many setbacks in this effort, but also cheerful glimmers of hope—actions and ways of doing things that make an event or place a functioning place to stop by with children and, above all, a welcoming one.

The Natural History Museum's lunch spot, Albert's living room, a family swing at Köydenpunojankuppuisto playground, and the world's safest stroller parking in front of the Presidential Palace. Are these what make a child-friendly Helsinki?

Little Helsinki challenges you to reveal child-friendly actions, events, and even wishes: how do we make Helsinki (and the world) more child-friendly and considerate of little ones?

The challenge is also aimed at various operators and event organizers: how can we make young customers feel welcome, how can we organize a functional stroller parking area for an event (okay, the Presidential Palace set the bar pretty high), or what small actions or insights can make things easier for families visiting?

You can leave your comments below, comment on Little Helsinki's Facebook page, Instagram, or share your experiences via email (mari (a) pientenhelsinki.fi).
Child-friendly actions deserve recognition, honor, and thanks!
