Candy, pranks and other spooky Halloween-themed events in Helsinki in autumn 2019

Halloween celebrations have arrived in Finland with great momentum in recent years, and Little Helsinki is listing creepy Halloween season events in Helsinki and the surrounding area for the first time. Halloween is officially celebrated in America on the last day of October, which this year is Thursday 31.10.2019. All Saints' Day a few days later is also a traditional Halloween celebration day in Europe, as is the eve of All Saints' Day on 1.11.2019. All Saints' Day is celebrated this year on Saturday 2.11.2019. Kekri, the celebration of the end of harvest season, falls around the same time as Halloween and All Saints' Day, and these traditions have been combined in several upcoming events.
