Join us in celebrating the annual Mobility Week on 16.–22.9.2023!

The week culminates in Car-Free Day on Friday 22.9.2023, when the City of Helsinki and HSY's Climate Info organize a free family event at Kansalaistor. The program includes, among other things, test rides of electric cargo bikes, free bike quick service, a climate-smart traveler orientation game and much more.

Fun and useful activities for all ages at Kansalaistor

Leave your car at home and join us at a sustainable mobility themed event at Kansalaistor on Friday 22.9. from 12–18. At the event, you can have your bike serviced for free to get it ready for autumn, as well as test ride different types of electric bikes. The youngest family members can enjoy, among other things, a bike skills course and a bike customization station. Adventure seekers can test their skills in the Climate-Smart Traveler orientation game. There will also be a vegan hot dog stand, offering free veggie hot dogs and juice to the first 300 visitors.

Kansalaistor is located between the Central Library Oodi and the Music Centre, close to Töölönlahti.

The Mobility Week, which kicks off on Saturday 16.9.2023, celebrates sustainable mobility once again. Mobility Week challenges everyone to think about their own travel habits, different ways to get around, and the benefits that sustainable mobility brings. In the Helsinki region, more than half (52%) of all trips are made using sustainable modes of transport – walking, cycling or public transport. The week culminates in a family event at Kansalaistor on Friday 22.9.2023 in Helsinki.
